The AnaBat SD2 Bat Detector is a state-of-the-art detector which lets you monitor the ultrasonic echolocation calls of bats for species identification and activity measurement. The Anabat SD2 is currently the only detector that makes it possible to view real-time, in-the-hand sonograms of bat calls, providing the fastest, most effective way to identify bats in the field. To save you time in the field, Faunalink can download and manage your Anabat data, and forward your call files directly to the Bat Call Analyst of your choice on request.
Song Meter SM2BAT+
For passive monitoring, the Song Meter SM2BAT+ provides the ability to monitor bat activity over long periods of time using either full spectrum or zero crossing technologies.
With an omnidirectional microphone, the SM2BAT+ is sensitive to detecting bat calls in all directions. The SM2BAT+ platform also allows for the acoustic monitoring of birds, frogs, mammals and other wildlife. As with the Anabat SD2, Faunalink can download and manage your SM2BAT+ data and forward directly to the Bat Call Analyst of your choice to save you time in the field. We can also configure each unit for your specific survey site, so contact us for assistance.
